Western Digital Green Drives do seem to be very low on power consumption but are noisier than Black faster drives...
not sure if Black drives would be faster, might try one when I need more space.
After missing an iTunes update in Mail signature since Leopard appeared, not its back with the excellent SignatureProfiler, automatically links addresses to accounts and lets you alter signatures dynamically!
